The first official meet of Mt Barker Little Athletics will be Friday 11th October 2024.
Athletics is not like Footy, Soccer, Softball, Cricket or Basketball. Athletics is an individual sport, you don’t need to be the best. At Mt Barker we focus on Personal Bests, and athletes individual development and grow across the season.

Full season fees entitles athletes to the following:
- Summer Track and Field season at Cornerstone College (October 2024 – March 2025)
- Qualification and eligibility to SALAA events at the Athletics Stadium throughout the summer season (Additional fees apply for event registration)
- Winter Cross Country and Race Walking season (April – July 2025)
Mt Barker District Little Athletics Club fees for the 2024/25 season are as follows:
- Come and Try – Free
- 2024/25 Full Season – $190 per athlete**
- Tiny Tots – $150
- Life Members – $150
- Rec Athletes – $50
- Winter Season – $60
**Discounts apply when registering 3 or more athletes
Little Athletics – Tiny Tot Memberships
If one or more of your athletes are a Tiny Tot (3 or 4 years old) the fee is reduced, the system automatically calculates the cheapest fee structure.
SA Little Athletes accepts the $100 Sports Vouchers as part of the registration process.
To apply for the Government Sports Voucher when registering, you will need to answer a few yes or no questions and enter your Medicare number plus your child’s reference number. You will need to write this out as one 11 digit number for it to be recognised properly.
You can do all of this once you have gone into your shopping cart and clicked ‘Checkout’. Before the system takes you to the ‘Checkout’ to make your payment, it will take you to the page to be able to apply your Sports Voucher.
Please note, you are only eligible to claim this Sports Voucher if your athlete is in Reception – Year 9 as of the start of 2024 and haven’t already claimed in 2024.
Little Athletics SA Support Fund
The SA Power Networks Membership Support Fund is available to families who have experienced unexpected hardship that has left them short of money, and as a result, unable to pay for their child’s sport and recreational activities.
The fund allows parents/caregivers to apply for a complimentary membership using the grant application (Applications open 1st September 2024)
